Super day today..
Wife got up and went to check on 2 mares that were past the due date by almost 2 weeks. Came back and said a baby was there. We went and done the normal routine of eyeballing mom and baby, disinfecting and taking pictures. Came home, had breakfast and was chilling a little when the phone rang. Kid that is fixing my tractor was the number on display so I figured there was a tractor problem. Answered and it was his mom all excited and stammering that the second foal was there.
Back we go for the same routine. We expected (were afraid of) boys because they were so late and were worried because both mares had problems last year. Both are girls, healthy as a horse  , and both grullo. Won't have any trouble selling them and they are almost twins.
