Kroil works good, for me, as a spray can penetrating oil. A 50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone has been shown more effective than Kroil, but I never seem to have any laying around, in a spray can! Dave's trick with tightening a bolt/nut, before you loosen it has merit, too, have used that trick, many times myself. My experience is that smaller bolts(<1/2" diameter) break off worse than the bigger ones, largely due to smaller cross sectional area versus the same amount of torque applied, to any given size nut. I guess what I am trying to say is that the friction of freeing up a nut is the same, just the size of the bolt determines whether it will break off.
