I am with Farm Bureau now. $750/year on a 2300 sq. foot home worth $200,000 + garage, belongings, $11,000 tractor as a rider. I am getting a good deal.
State Farm wanted $1,100 Frankenmuth mutual wanted $1,000 I think
Price around, if you have car insurance with them the price goes down alot.
When I was with Frankenmuth mutual a few years back I told the agent directly to lower the replacement cost of the house from $275k to $220K It saved my $100 or something. My arguement was that if the house burned down to nothing I would still have a piece of land. You have look over the policy as a whole, septic back up, do you own a dog, riders of equipment, etc.
