I know little about wheel weights as everyone loves to fill tires around here but I'm putting on some radials that don't recommend loading.
Its a MF 34" pressed steel center, on a 2005 MF 5455 ( I know too new for here but no traffic over there)
I'm hoping there is some universalness to wheel weights as new ones aren't stocked at the dealer and cost 3x used. They can't tell me what I should be looking for though.
I see cast centres, I see cast flat disc and I see cast cone shaped things with a lip type shape.
I'm guessing cone shaped is easier and more universal since they appear to fit a wide variety of rim diameters. Is the weight bolt pattern pretty universal? Is there a std weight for these things?
The cast disc would be great except it looks to be a pain when handling rims in the future. I don't know anything about the flat disc type other than I've seen them on older tractors.
