Fenders were an option and with just moderate netal working skills you can make a good workable 3 point hitch. I have yet to use an aftermarket 3 point hitch that would perform as well as an original one from a tractor made for 3 pint. Fact is not all tractors hitches perform the same even the tractors so equipped from the factory. Most any will work with post hole diggers, rotary mowers and blades. plowing with a moldboard plow is a different matter
I put new afermarket John Deere fenders on my "M" Farmall. Looks neat and have lights on fenders. May bbe cheaper to buy new fenders than original used ones.
