This message is to thank the many forum contributors who provided advice on the replacement of an 8N starter switch button. The advice and counsel posted and the pitfalls to avoid was very informative. Today I replaced the starter switch (my first attempt at doing this) and every thing went very well. Not one problem. Even the infamous spring stayed in place. Thanks to everyone who shared their experience and knowledge
