I see a little blurb on the main Yahoo page that says, Give to Japan, $2,000,000 given so far. I really wonder how much really is going to the victims? Probably not much, maybe not a dime. When scammers capitalize off of a tragedy like thousands dead from a tidal wave it makes me want to start shooting.
My wife gave $20 a few months ago to the childrens leukemia fund. We later found out it was a scam. I was super pizzed off. I told the wife to NEVER give anybody anything unless you check to see if it is legit. Scams over the phone are the ones people fall for.
