I'm 75 years old and have lived in the time when owning something was a delight and was taken care of so it could be used over and over again Since the advent of a throw away society came about, well that's what happens. Younger folks got into the habit of neglect. Not only that but the farmers (parents of that generation) succumbed to the same philosophy probably because the kids hated farming and found ways to get out of the chore of protecting the farm items necessary to keep the farm going strong. JMHO.any way that's another rant. lol.Any way,I'm off to the coffee shop to discuss the rest of the worlds problems.Won't be able to solve them either. Regards LOU.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
