I have a B250 and the glow plugs are slow, takes thirty seconds to a minute,when its cold it takes a bit longer,I start cranking the engine over after about thirty seconds, white smoke starts coming and it starts to fire once its running I let off on the glow plugs and let the tractor run until its firing on all 4, then I let it run at a fast idle for a few minutes until some sort of operating temperature comes up..and a British diesel works best when warmed up to operating temp.
