I have some experiance with sawmills, but need more information, i"m sure others would, as well. What is the "Make" or brand, is it home made, or a commercially made mill? What is the "make of engine? Number of cylinders, horsepower? Is it belt driven or PTO driven What is the diameter of blade, does it have insertable, replaceable teeth? Does it have hydraulics? Such as hydraulic "dogs" to lock the log down, Hydraulic "Setworks to adjust the size,"Width", of cut? If so what is the make of main hydraulic pump, and how is it driven, from the main saw shaft,by belt? What accessories come with it...edger, board end trim saws..if so how are the driven. what provision is made to blow, drag, or carry away sawdust? Is it portable, trailer mounted, so it can be moved and set up at different locations, like farm to farm, or stationary, so all logs must be brought to it? Finally...amount of usage in 10 years, such as, 8 hours per day, or several times a week, or a few times a month, or 2 weeks a year? That determines wear !
