The Ford F250 was the lightest truck that Ford made a Camper special out of. They were 3/4 ton. Most had the 360 long stroke high torque or the 390. All were 4 speeds. The all had a 1.5 ton rear axle and springs,8 bolt wheel lug pattern and up until 1982 had split rims. In 1982 they went to solid rims but with what they called a high load lip. They were factory equipped with internal tie downs and the disk breaks on the front were duel puck with locking pistons so you didn't get pad rebound. Hope this helps.
