if you have a plug cleaner no need to throw them away. you blast them clean then open the gap a bit then take a small file and file the electrode flat again and regap them. the plug is then good as new. lots of the plug cleaners you can test the plug for spark also.the reason the plug is not firing properly cause its carboned up.important to have the electrode flat and not rounded off and the proper gap and you will get a good spark.what is not recommended is cleaning with a wire brush.
