But you say happens every 15 or so minutes, I assume like clock work, so when know is getting somewhat close to scheduled occurance, open expanded task manager of "processes" so can see all of the processes running, and see if something suddenly starts showing increased usage as it occurs. If its a program, I would think would show up then. Viruses are processes, or attach themselves to processes through programs. Thats what I would do...task manager, full screen, "processes" to see what steps up when. Like hunting. Sit in the brush, and wait. At least appears to have a schedule.
