Mark, I'm very sorry to here that. One kidney not working? Better take real good care of the other.
I only had stones or a stone once, and that was a couple of years ago, and thankfully only lasted a few days. So as not to be censored, started out ouchy and potty was kind of pinkish, and got progressively worse. By the time I passed it a few days later, everytime that I pottied like that day, fire engine red like was passing pure blood. Those last few days were very painful. Very painful. I never saw the stone, all of a sudden, potty was normal, and felt like a blissful, "Awwwwwwwwe, that feels so good I could stand here and do this all day, and if there was snow I could write a whole novel and then sign my name". May not have been a stone. Felt like a small piece of glass for about a week, ouch, ouch, ouch, YOUCH.
Good luck. And help her take care of that one good kidney.

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
