I don't know where you are getting your information but you may want to check a few things out, first, at the present time,the USA EXPORTS DIESEL FUEL. If the USA needed to import diesel fuel it would not look to the Arabs, they don't have the refining capacity to service their own needs, Saudi Arabia IMPORTS DIESEL FUEL. Second, the USA is the worlds third largest producer of nitrogen fertilizer, in recent years we have imported roughly 50% of our Nitrogen due to the high cost of natural gas which more drilling has since alleviated, regardless, we did not import one grain of nitrogen fertilizer from the Middle east, most came from Trinidad and India.
