1st off it depends on what model 830. Is it an early 1960 or a late 1969 comfort king? If the earlier/pre comfort kings The only way to maybe get $2000 is to part it out and you'll still scrap the trans/rear end. As others have said you can get good/fair runners in the 2000-2500 range or less.
The key items of value, grill screens, heads, block and piston/sleeves (especially 830 gasers), manifolds if good, PS pump, PTO (older) hydraulic pump (all vintages), fenders if very good, wide fronts of course, eagle claws (older), torque tube with all parts for someone wanting to convert a Case-o-matic and the dual shifter set up. Older gage clusters if in fair condition are worth 100 to 150ish more if excellent and work. otherwise that's about it and you'll have to work at moving the parts. Some stuff will fly and others you may scrap after a while. I've parted out most of 2 of these Case tractors so I'm familiar with them. Good luck.
