Since XP is going away, and sooner or later my copies and support for it will be gone, and MACs are pretty expensive, I've been playing with Ubuntu. I ordered 4 refurbished IMB/Lenovo Thinkpads loaded with XP, but one mistakenly came loaded with Ubuntu and I didn't know what it was, other than it resembled windows upside down and backwards, and had an orange back ground, so I played with it. And the more that I played with it and asked questions about it, the more people that I find have it, and there's all kinds of freeware for it all over the internet. Of course, when Windows XP or older blew up, I could get around in DOS before it loaded. Ubuntu? Getting around in Linux in the back ground is a whole new ballgame, so I hope that its interface, Ubuntu doesn't break soon because I'm not ready to tackle Linux yet. Is different though, and Linux is pretty reliable.
Good luck...Windows 7 isn't allowed on my property. Not even in the out house, during a blizzard.
