the 4040's I have been around were dogs, the engines were not snappy and take fuel as if through a floodgate, the only reason to buy green is for nice steering, brakes and shifting, if you want something that starts, has some low end torque and doesn't burn massive amounts of fuel buy something else, no tractor that size should take more than 3-3.5gph
