I'll give you a tip on taking decals off of flat surfaces. Forget the heat gun. That is to much work and time consuming. Take a single edge razor blade scraper. Put in a new blade. Get a sheet of 320 grit sandpaper and lay it on a flat surface. Now drag the scraper across it pulling it towards your body as if you were sharpening it. Always remember which side of the scraper is up and always have it in the UP position. Now you have the tool to lay on a painted surface and gently push on the decal. If you remove the decal and it leaves a little glue/adhesive, use acetone, mineral spirts, or laquer thinner to remove it.. I have remove many this way...JB
