here's my understanding of the situation - you bought the 931 from E-bay therefore there is a written advertisement that the seller must stand behind, that is your contract.

The e-bay page either said "AS IS" and you have absolutely no case against him what so ever

OR the ad made some kind of mention that the machine was either in "good shape" or "running" or "ready to work" or something that led you to believe that is would work. It this is the case then there is something that may be thought by a judge to be an IMPLIED WARRANTY.

Take the guy to court and try and get your money back and quit airing your dirty laundry all over this board.

The law is far more powerful than cyberspace and its either on your side or not
