I have been shorted and mis represented on purchases and feel your level of insult and loss. The fact is that probably 1% of farmers read this forum. probably less than .05% of the heavy equipment operators/owners even know about it. The solution is to put all your facts and impressions (different things) into a clear written statement with a timeline. discuss it with a small claims lawyer for an hour. Then either take him to court, or eat the situation. The most difficult issue is that it did work for a period of time before failing. As such it can be said that the seller had no idea it would fail, and no way of knowing it might. If it was sold as is (on the advertisement or bill of sale) you are more than likely out of luck. Jim
