Hang in there and do what the doctor says. Most important is doing the exersize and stretching they tell you to do. My Dad had both knees replaced last year, had them done about 2 months apart from each other. He was wheelchair bound at that point and now can walk like he"s 30 years younger but runs out of breath pretty easy. He turned 88 a few days ago and is still living on his own and is quite independent. Yep, still drives too. He said the worst part of the rehab was he couldn"t drive!
