Memories are the key. It sounds as if you have great ones. Just think of the people who don't appreciate their loved one's and friend's- what do they have left? My dad was fifty yrs. young when I was born. Mom was 16 yrs. younger. I wouldn't trade my parents for anything! Dad was a great dad. He kept up to us ALL the time. He was a tough 'ol man with a heart of gold. You gotta hang in there! That's what they would want- for you to carry the torch now.I know it hurts, but remember, they go on to a new beginning, and are watching and waiting for you.I wouldn't have gotten through losing both parent's if it wasn't for God and his blessings. My dad always said" We are blessed, look at what we have". Even the little things mean a lot. I have become even more and more involved with antique farming because of these folk's legends. Old tractors, threshing shows, plowing w/ horses, whatever it takes to relive their heritage. Take care of grandpa as long as you can- you won't regret it!Pray as much as you want. Thanx for letting me share this story.
