If I was you I would check that out. On all land I have worked with here when you buy the acreage and it involves a roadway that is bought with the rest, it can't be separated. Now maybe where you are at it is different BUT I seriously doubt it. When you buy a lot or house in town you own to the middle of the street and you PAY for all taxes and all improvements--farm land is same way.
