Was thinking how much easier it would be today to have a few more horses at the house in winter instead of the open stalls outside town. Doing some measuring and counting up what I'd need for wood when the neighbor lady and her dad were going by with some 30ft or so 4"x8" I-beams they'd pulled out of a barn they were redoing and were going to cut them up for scrap. Enough for posts and frt/back beams, just need rafters, roof, and finish it with material on hand. Timing is everything.
