We pay "real" property tax on land and fixed buildings, income tax, and 1 sales tax (in most areas), and thats it.
The sales tax is 13% in many places and doesn't apply to a lot of basic needs. My overall income tax is about 25-30%, The property tax is about 1000$ on 100,000$ of assessed value, or half that if its your primary residence. Cities tack more property tax on top of that but its all combined in one bill.
