By the time that you closed it, it had already captured your cookies and downloaded your cached keystrokes and sent them back to the originating hacker, whom had already lined up your keystrokes with your cookies, and was already broadcast on some cyber bulletin boards frequented by other hackers looking to purchase and sell personal information regarding accounts. And what hasn't already been transmitted is setting dormant until you are on line, so that it can capture those keystrokes and account numbers as you type them. Never open emails from any source that you can't validate before you open them.
