Been running a 9 fooot ag bagger for over ten years with a 1000 to 540 adapter and the enging at about half throttle. With all that power of the 2-180 it has never been a problem. Works great and sipps fuel. Cheaper to run than the 2-135 wide open at 540. Try it see if the power band is correct on that tractor might really like it.
