Ya, and then we wouldent have bloated insurance costs. Some one should be held accountable. My friend had a barn built back in 01,winter of 02 we had a christmas snow storm and a week later a new years snow storm. I dont remember how much snow, but alot. Anyway the roof collapsed, no one got hurt, he called the builder to come fix it, which the guy did. He told my friend I tried to save you some money, but I ended up $c%ewing you. I was shocked, who would try to save money on the roof???. The guy ran cables from side to side, and added plywood to the trusses. As far as know its been ok ever since. I dont remember any building inspecter ever looking at it during construction either.
