I would see wrecks come in to be rebuilt, one guy I worked with had the job of tearing the whole sled apart to put in a new bulkhead and tunnel, wow what a job, but this guy was real good at it, I think he could do the job in 2 or 3 days, I cant remember. It is really something to see it done. He was the only one in the shop that could do it and I helped him a few times on them. In 05 I think it was he did 8 of them. I saw the guy in December and asked him if he still had to do them, not very many he said. I guess the new sleds are all one piece now, tunnel and bulkhead. Im not up to date on them anymore I left the shop in 06.
