The FT engines have a front mount that attaches to the timing cover which is steel instead of aluminum. The FT blocks are not even drilled for side mounts. The FT cranks have a larger diameter front snout so you cannot put the FT timing cover on a FE. I think you'd be better off finding a 391 to rebuild if you want more power than the 330.
