I'm not trying to get even with anyone. It's just common sense. There are thousands of used tractors for sale. Putting a very vague ad does waste a lot of peoples time. If you put a price range and the features you're looking for won't waste peoples time but will help to narrow your search. If someone responded with what you were looking for that was $500 over your budget, you might be interested. If they were $3000 over, they probably wouldn't respond. No one is going to give their bottom line price in an e-mail. Just the opposite. If they know you're looking, they're more likely to give you an exxagerated price thinking you're desperate.
