I can only guess that the snow bank pushing at the underside of the vehicle somehow damaged the electronic control wiring harness to the transmission. There are two wiring connections to the transmission, one for electronic shift control and one for manual lever positon sensing. MLPS tells the computer which gear you have selected and controls the transmission accordingly. It also allows you to only start the vehicle in the park position. Put it on a hoist and take a look for pulled, cut, ripped, and damaged wiring. Remember to look at both sets of wires, manual lever position sensor and electronic control wiring to the hydraulic solenoid body.
