You couldn't wait 5 or 10 minutes for them to open? You're THAT impatient? It probably took you 10 to 15 minutes to drive to the next place, which also opened promptly at 8AM.
Local barber got himself in trouble by cutting hair before opening time. First it was 10 minutes early. People got wise and there was a line, so some started showing up 15 minutes early. He let them in, so now everyone shows up 15 minutes early to beat the rush, and a few are now standing outside the door at 20 minutes before opening time. The boss tolerates it, but isn't happy. God forbid it's his day off or he's "on time" for some reason.
There's a reason businesses have business hours. They have paperwork and stocking to do before and after. Just because they're in the store doesn't mean they're prepared to do business.
