Currents in lakes, depends on the lake. Our local lake is 12 miles long, one to one and half mile wide,it is the Minnesota river so there are definetely spots where current is at work. On the shallow end of the lake you will see the path the current takes when it starts to thaw in spring. Most who frequent the lake know what areas it affects but you never know for sure.
