I had an '83 3/4 ton 4X4 6.2L 4 speed with 4.10 gears that was a very good truck until the block cracked at 245,000 miles. It cracked aound one of the cylinder walls about 6" down. As stated the cab rusted out bad and this was in Texas not the Northeast.
