From what I've heard the ice is shrinking up North in the Arctic but down South (Antarctica) the icepack is actually getting larger. When I look at everything that has been writtin about how this or that species migrated here or there over the centuries it really makes me wonder what made them move from someplace with ideal conditions for them to another place where conditions didn't seem to be so ideal? Really makes me wonder if what we're seeing now isn't just another part of natures cycle...
I mean we alreadyknow that areas that are now desert were once under water, and vice-a-versa so why shoudn't areas that are now cold become warm and areas that are now warm become cold? Given the archeological record it only stands to reason that what happened once is destined to happen again...wether we modern day humans are here to see it or not when it does........
