If your Cub won't pull a belly mower, your Cub is sick and needs work. I've run a Cub with a 4-1/2 foot AND a 5-foot belly-mount sickle mower, a belly-mount Mott Hammerknife flail mower, and a Woods 42C 42-inch swinging-blade belly mower, and a healthy Cub will handle ANY of them just fine...in second gear, under most conditions.
The ONLY belly mowers I don't recommend for use on a healthy Cub are the Danco/IH 5-foot belly mowers. Those mowers pull pretty hard. The Woods 59 belly mower is probably better suited for a Super A/100/130/140 as well, unless you're using a Cub to mow a relatively short lawn...or unless you enjoy mowing in low gear all the time [which I don't].
