I have brought 2 cubs,,, Don't know why,,, they are underpowered and pert near useless. I have a 100 and 140 that are hard to beat cultivating. If I have the need they will plow, disc, mow right along with most 25/30HP tractors. I never have figured out why a cub brings $2K are more,,, maybe they don't fit my rump,,, maybe I don't need a toy to just ride the back 40 on. Theirs no comparison between a cub and a 100/130/140,,, why buy a tractor that is underpowered to the point its takes all its got to load and unload off the trailer
One thing I know is you will never be stuck with a 100/130/140,,, they are in demand, they have a good reputation, they are more versatile, they will do more than struggle to scratch the ground, they hold their value, Parts are easier to come by, they are EZ to work on.
Their are a lot of farmers around here that farmed 100 acres are more around here with them, all said and done they will still fetch about what they paid for them... Folks will line up to battle over them
