I have a JD 246 planter. I know every one else uses at least a 290 but poor folk have poor ways. The fertilizer hopper (AY794B) and drop tube (AH363B) on on side finally finished rusting thru and fell off today when I was getting it ready for spring. Then to make lousy day even worse the disc opener for the fert. bearing was seized up and the bracket that bolts it to the seed runner broke as I tried to remove the disc and bearing. Anyone out there know where I could find these parts? I could replace disc opener with the reg fert. boot if I could find one.
