When you say rebuilt, what exactly did you do to it? I wasn't aware that any replacement parts were available for the valve chests. Last time I tried to get a spring and a couple other small bits, Case wanted to sell me a whole unit.
Did you just take apart and clean? Lots of springs and plungers to get back into the right place.
What were the symptoms before you took it out?
Do you happen to have the rate of lowering screw cranked all the way in?
Does it behave the same in all three modes(depth. height and TCU)?
