I"m back to working on my little 2010 Diesel loader crawler, he needs something done about the engine. Will the engine from a 2020 farm tractor bolt right in? I priced out some of the parts to overhaul the original engine, but with the cylinder deck alone at $1000 from Deere, I"m looking at going a different route. I"m also playing with the thought of just putting bearings in, rebuilding the head, injectors, and injection pump, and throwing a set of rings in. Is there an outfit I can get parts for the old girl? I wonder if there"s somebody who makes a liner kit for it that does away with the cylinder deck?
