Hello gmccool: Whew.. I just Googled Faro,Yukon and read Wikipedia about Faro and the big lead/zinc mine etc and then clicked on the google map.. Your right close to the middle of nowhere... Right? Zoom out on the map I see nothing but wilderness in all directions. 600 to700 mile East of Anchorage.. You better turn off the last light when you drive away.. that is if there is still a road there. I am giving you a hard time but not by much. Since the mine is closed, I guess, what is going on around Faro now?? Really would like to know? I did not see another big town within 300 miles? Like maybe a town with a hospital? Take care.. ag
