The fact that these people are trying to sell on Craiglist means they are not professional sales people. I am and I suspect most of us are professional buyers if we really want something in particular.

I suggest you wait awhile then go see the trailer. By this time the guy is more disgusted with buyers than you are with sellers.
Talk to him a little develop a rapport and make an offer.
