Jason, According to a book written by Guy Fay, there were 838 produced. The serial number for the tractor should be on the inside seat bracket. I think it should have a prefix of iaa. The engine serial number is located on the right front of the engine where the head meets the block. It should begin with iaam. The international super a is the only one from that year with a square front axle and foot throttle. Sounds like a good find. I'd make sure the casting dates match and the serial tag is an international tag like I just described.
