I'm providing a link to my online photo album with the photos taken at FLW.

For most or all of you I doubt you recognize anything since most are associated with the 208th MP Company and hopefully you never had to deal with them other than a wave through at the Main Gate.

Mid-60s guys----remember when a 6X6 took out the Main Gate shack? The driver had gotten mad because he had gotten a ticket so demolished the building and injured an MP which was pinned to the truck grill as it proceeded through the building.

A small temporary building was used until a new facility could be constructed. However while still under construction the new building was damaged when a driver fell asleep and drove into it.

I took time lapse photos of the 6X6 incident and CID and JAG used them during the prosecution of the case. Though they promised to return them I never did get them back. Still have some poorer ones however. Slides so need scanned before adding them to the album.

BTW Dave, you didn't mention Licking which was out the South Gate. A couple of years ago I got in touch with lady that grew up there. Her folks owned a motel/cafe/bar in St. Roberts and my buddies and I used to hang out there and drink coffee. Toni now lives in Florida. Nice to rekindle old memories. Though Toni never married we are far too different to ever connect these days tho we had crushes on each other back then.
