It's been several years ago, but seems like a Cub I had with a belly mower used a pulley on the PTO and a pair of pulleys lower down to run the mower. The pulleys bolted under the rear axle, and it used one long belt that ran around all four pulleys. One pulley on the PTO, two pulleys at the back, and one pulley on the center mower spindle. If you could find some pictures, maybe you can see what I'm trying to describe. MShelby
