Route 66 museum in Elk City OK is worth a stop. Setup like a old town with lots of displays, even has a vintage farming display. Tallest cross in the western hemisphere is in Texas, right on the interstate, you'll see it! Cadillac Ranch is also in Texas a little northwest of Amarillo. I've made that trek about eight times and try to find something everytime, with just not much luck!
