We started heating with wood full time in 1988. Our house is actually heated by electric base board heaters.The first year we lived here we had a fire place and base board heaters.A fire place burns to much wood and base board heaters cost way to much.So I installed a block off plate on the fire place ran a stainless chimney liner and installed a wood stove.We've been heating with wood for twenty three years this winter.You just can't beat wood heat for warmth.
