My 154 has had the top link bracket for the 3 point lift on the hydraulic lift welded. I bought a top link and it won't go far enough back into the bracket for me to put the pin in. The end of the top link hits the hydraulic lift housing before the holes in the housing and top link line up. I think there's probably too much weld there so I'm thinking of grinding it down, but I don't want to until I know what the measurement is for a stock unit so I don't grind through the housing and ruin the hydraulics. Trying to find parts is a difficult matter. Would you be able to measure how deep that space is on your 154? I need the distance from the backside of the hydraulic lift housing, BETWEEN the two brackets that stick out for the top link to hook on to, out or coming backwards to a point you'll need to specify, either the center of the pin holes, the furthest point the brackets stick out, the edge of the pin hole closest to the tractor or the edge of the pin hole furthest away from the tractor. If you're able to help me out, please try to be as exact as possible so I'll know how much I can grind. Just to make sure I'm on the right track, have you attached a top link to yours yet? By any chance is there some special removeable bracket that attaches to the housing which I'm missing? Any help you could offer would be GREATLY appreciated. Please email or call me. My number is 920-439-1672. Feel free to call if you'd like or leave your number or email and I'll call you. Tony
